The Halloween episode will be ready just a little after Halloween. Fur on Fire are working on this one and they have been asking what people are planning to dress as for Halloween.

Little Orange Children Productions are in the final stages of editing the latest Speaker’s Corner. The theme of this episode is “What if ISM had a theme song?”. It promises to be a musical roller coaster, as we hear students and teachers share and sing some of their favorite songs. If you are helping us out by bringing in music, please remember your files on Monday so that they can complete the video.

The second episode of Speaker’s Corner focused on the canteen and the wide selection of choices available to students. In the first part, our camera visits each of the restaurants to get an idea of what is offered at each one. In the second part of the episode, we head out to find MS opinions on their favorite places to eat in the canteen. Doesn’t anyone bring their own lunch anymore? Denise took the helm directing while Yukari and Isabel compiled the footage of the interviews. Xavier did a great job editing the production.

The first episode of Speaker’s Corner for the 2007-08 season was a back to school special. Hot on the heels of summer, we asked students and teachers to tell us the craziest thing they have ever done. Some of the stories seemed well matched to the individual answering, but there were some surprising responses. We also quizzed Grade 6 students about getting lost and fearing the large Grade 8 students during their first week.

Speaker’s Corner is our regular ongoing production. We try to produce 1 episode every 2 weeks. Each episode revolves around a preselected theme, with questions posed to teachers and students.
